Guest Speakers
Natalie Rogalski
Nat, is the Head Physiotherapist at the English National Ballet Company. Originally from Perth and now located in London, she is a Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor who has seen her love of dance bring her to the wonderful world of professional ballet over the past 10 years.
Natalie has found her time within the world of performing arts has been a journey filled with passion, supportive colleagues, a desire to put herself into uncomfortable environments and a willingness to grab opportunities that arose along the way.
Nat has spent her life loving dance, movement, Physio and people. She’s very grateful to have the opportunity to play a role in supporting the artistic endeavours of elite dancers in what is an exciting and demanding environment.
Belinda Herde
Belinda Herde is a Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist who also has a post grad in Strength and Conditioning (Ex sci) from ECU. Belinda is the director of Grand Slam Physiotherapy clinics in Geelong and Torquay with her husband Ben.
She has worked with Tennis for the last 15 years, originally with Tennis Australia at the National Academy and for the last 13 years with the WTA. This took Belinda to be based in Florida with 6 years in a full time travel role, working internationally at Grand Slams and Masters events. Belinda's career highlight was working at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Belinda has also been a coauthor of a number of Tennis medicine research studies and publications and has presented at international conferences including the IOC Conference on Prevention of injury and illness in sport and more recently was a presenter on Sports Map masterclass on Rotator Cuff injuries.
Thihan Chandramohan
Thihan, originally from Melbourne is grateful to have realised his dream of becoming a cricket Physio after graduating over 20 years ago.
Currently based in Colombo, as Rehabilitation Manager for the Sri Lankan Cricket team, he is fortunate to live his passion daily. Having previously held cricket positions across the globe working with Melbourne Renegades, Bangladesh Cricket and Hampshire Cricket, he has a broad range of experience of providing Sports Physiotherapy across a range of sporting environments.
In addition, through his involvement with The Physio Social Club, he has the opportunity to share his experiences and is able to encourage Physios and other health professionals to seek and pursue their own career goals.
Ben Herde
Ben is a titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and also has a degree in Exercise Science.
Ben has worked in a variety of sports but has taken a specific focus to tennis having worked in tennis for the last 15 years, with both Tennis Australia and currently the ATP World Tour with some of the world’s best athletes.
He has also worked with other sports including TAC cup Football, Australian National Shield Rugby Union and Premier State Division Soccer. Ben is a director of Grand Slam Physiotherapy in Geelong and Torquay, Victoria. Ben also works with the La Trobe University Masters of Sports Physiotherapy program as a clinical educator.
John Contreras
John is an APA Sports & Exercises Physiotherapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Pilates Instructor and Educator with over 21 years of experience working in Melbourne and London. In addition to his Physiotherapy qualifications, John also holds a Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning) from Edith Cowan University.
Alongside his clinic work, John also runs various exercise therapy workshops to health and fitness professionals, mentors younger clinicians, and is founder of The Physio Social Club.
